Im Jahr 2013 war er Mitgr\u00fcnder von CRISPR Therapeutics, leitete das Team durch den erfolgreichen IPO-Abschluss im Jahr 2016 und war bis Dezember 2017 als CEO t\u00e4tig. Er war bis September 2023 President und Vorstandsvorsitzender von CRISPR. Vor seiner T\u00e4tigkeit bei CRISPR Therapeutics war Dr. Novak globaler Leiter f\u00fcr Infektionskrankheiten bei Sanofi. Rodger hat derzeit den Vorsitz in den Vorst\u00e4nden von Xap Therapeutics und Econic Biosciences inne und ist Venture-Partner bei SR One Capital.&lt;\/p&gt;\n&lt;p&gt;Er erhielt seinen Doktor der Medizin von der Philipps-Universit\u00e4t, Marburg, Deutschland, und war Post-Doc in den USA an der Rockefeller University, am Skirball Institute und am St. Jude Children\u2019s Research Hospital.
