Research Associate (f/m/d) – Assay Development in target and validation
Full time – maternity cover, 1 year-fixed-term
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Execute experiments with standard cell lines, primary cells and in vivo samples
• Use molecular and cell biology methods (e.g., ELISA, nucleic acid isolation, protein assays)
• Present and discuss data to team members
• Precise documentation of results
QUALIFICATIONS
• Completed training as a B.Sc./M.Sc. in Biology or related subject, or comparable qualification; 1-2 years industrial experience is preferred
• Expertise in molecular biology methods (e.g., ELISA, DNA and RNA isolation, PCR, gel electrophoresis, fluorescence measurements, etc.)
• Routine Hands-on experience in cultivation of standard cell lines, primary cells and samples from animal models
• Experience with semi-automated systems (e.g., Integra Viaflo system, Cytena plate washer, etc.) is a plus
• Highly organized, reliable, enthusiastic, and willing to learn
• Team player with excellent communication skills in spoken and written English, German is a plus
