POSITION SUMMARY

AIRNA is seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven HR operations leader to partner with the Head of People to deliver scalable people programs, operational excellence and a positive employee experience across our global organization. In this position you will help ensure the smooth and effective operation of HR processes and technology to enhance the overall employee experience. You will support the design and implementation in multiple HR areas including talent acquisition, onboarding/offboarding, learning and development, employment policies, performance management, and total rewards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review, recommend, and implement HR systems and processes to support HR operations.
  • Lead design and implement robust onboarding and offboarding experience coordinating with applicable departments and hiring managers.
  • Support annual benefit renewal and open enrollment process working closely with outside broker and Finance to recommend and implement benefits that align with our total rewards strategy.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and benefits questions.
  • Manage employee records to ensure compliance and accuracy of information.
  • Assist with review and update of employee handbook, policies, and procedures.
  • Track and report metrics and run ad hoc reports as necessary.
  • Partner with Managers to address employee relations issues, escalate as necessary, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Coordinate HR training programs for employees and managers
  • Oversee immigration requests, transfers, and applications working directly with outside counsel.
  • Work with the finance department to prepare payroll by providing accurate and complete documentation.
  • Stay up to date with trends in people analytics, HR best practices, and technology identifying areas of improvement and opportunities for change.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across US and Germany site to support a positive and values-based culture.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations
  • Performs other related duties and ad hoc projects as required by position.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience in HR operations, shared services, or HR business partner functions.
  • Experience in a fast-moving, dynamic biotech company preferred.
  • Experience in ensuring company compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to manage employee relations effectively.
  • High degree of professionalism and integrity.
  • Strong attention to detail.

LOCATION

AIRNA has a hybrid work model, and the role will be based in AIRNA’s corporate headquarters in Cambridge, MA ~3 days per week.

COMPENSATION

Salary range: $190,000 – $220,000
